Do you have experience in construction and are interested in working in a single climate-controlled environment? Windsor Building Systems specializes in factory-built home construction components such as roof trusses, floor decks, and wall panels and we would love to have you join our team.
 
In this position, you will construct various wood frame components of homes in conjunction with our production software and designs by taking the labeled parts and following the plans. Projects vary in complexity, as all components that we build are custom-made.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Measure and cut building materials
• Assemble framing components
• Follow safety standards and policies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work together with all team members
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to read and comprehend design plans
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy pieces of materials
• Comfortable identifying and using a variety of hand and power tools; such as powered saws, nail and staple guns.
• Knowledge of various types of lumber and building materials

Candidate will spend the majority of the day rigging and will be home at the end of the day, 90% of the time.

Enjoy being home 4-5 nights a week and play a key role in the initial stages of building a new home!

As part of this position you will need to:

• Perform pre/post trip inspections of trucks, trailers, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product for safety and accuracy
• Bend, twist and squat
• Work in a variety of weather conditions
• Lift up to 100# throughout the work shift, with assistance
• Work as part of a team to keep one another accountable and motivated.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:

• Class A CDL Driver’s License and minimum 3 years experience
• An outstanding record of attendance and safety
• Clean MVR
• A positive attitude
• A focus on quality
